Most were written in the late 19th century and the early 20th century, but dates range from to the present. More than 80 languages are represented in the collection. The breakdown of languages is: Contains about dissertations by nobel laureates and numerous other notable scholars.

Most universities have links from their library pages to their institutional or regional repository.

The form should be submitted at least two weeks before the scheduled date of the defense. Numerous drafts should have been reviewed by the committee resulting in a final manuscript before the defense.

The student has seven days to submit the final copies of the manuscript to Graduate College after a successful defense- allowing time for minor changes to be made to the manuscript before the deadline. One copy of the manuscript in final form must be submitted to the Graduate College by 5: Publish your manuscript or abstract.

The Graduate College and your Program Coordinator have publishing agreements available for the one of the oldest and most established publishing companies, University Microfilms UMI also known as ProQuest.

Update your address with the Graduate College. Page Numbers Page numbers must be clear, consecutive, and printed on every page, including appendixes, tables, figures, maps, charts photographs, etc.

Lowercase Roman numbers e. The title page counts as page i but does not bear a number.

Begin the actual numbering with the acceptance page as page ii, and continue with lowercase Roman numerals until the start of the actual body of the thesis. That page, whether part database your full introduction or of your first chapter, should be numbered using the Arabic numeral 1, and every page thereafter should be numbered consecutively until you reach thesis vita page.

Ordinarily, page numbers should be centered at the top or bottom of the page, entered midway between the edge of paper and the text to prevent their loss during the binding process.

References, Citations, Bibliography, and Footnotes Check with your department on this requirement. This format depends largely on your particular field or topic.

For example, footnotes can appear either on the page where the annotation occurs, the end of each chapter, or the end of the thesis. Be sure to follow the conventions of your department or discipline.
